Just heart broken that in a world facing enormous climate and health challenges, when humanity now more than ever before needs to unite and find solutions to save the planet, the powers decide to go to war.
Introducing the Art United charity sale
More than one million people have fled Ukraine since Russian forces invaded the country last week, the United Nations refugee agency has confirmed. The EU estimates that this could rise to four million people.
As charities operating in the UK and Ukraine are appealing for vital funds to offer aid in the humanitarian crisis, our artists, and some new faces, have generously donated pieces to raise money for Save the Children.
All proceeds raised from the Art United charity sale will support Save the Children’s vital work, distributing essential supplies and winter clothing and blankets, providing cash and vouchers to families for food, rent and medicines, and vital mental health and psychosocial support.
How you can support
Our Art United charity sale will run from 10:00 on Friday 4 March until 19:00 on Sunday 6 March. If you’d like to purchase any of the incredible pieces on offer, please email your best offer to info@loughrangallery.co.uk during this time. We will notify those that have successfully purchased the pieces on Monday 7 March.
Our artists, and those that have connected with us through social media to also take part, have been overwhelmingly generous in donating artworks for this sale. We hope we can raise as much money as possible for the people of Ukraine, who need us now more than ever.
Donations can also be made to Save the Children’s Ukraine crisis appeal here.
